One of the hardest parts of relocating is deciding what to get rid of and what is precious enough to take extra care whilst moving. Whether you are moving for a new job across town, moving to college, or moving in with loved ones, the next place is full of possibilities.
It is daunting to face all the objects you have accumulated over your stay. Old clothes, bikes the kids have outgrown, artifacts of a hobby you are no longer interested in - for most people, the list is quite similar. To streamline operations, while you are packing up, create two additional piles. Items that are relatively new and can be rehomed. Gently used clothes, toys, and furniture, can all go in this pile. The second pile are items that are unfortunately past their prime. Anything broken or damaged can go in this pile. Place a MoovDrop junk removal order to have a driver come pick-up your items and take them to the appropriate disposal location, with no upcharge on the disposal fees.
Before taking your donation pile to Value Village or Goodwill, consider inviting family and friends over to go through the pile and take anything they want. From there, if you are feeling up to it, you can have a yard sale. Whatever remains in the donation pile, place a MoovDrop Donation order and we will take your items to a donation center of your choice.
