Marketplace pickups in Toronto usually mean crossing the city — a listing in Scarborough, a buyer downtown — during a window the seller sets and does not want to extend. Many pickups are condo lobbies or garage entries where the seller will not wait. You do not need to be at the pickup: send the driver the address and window, and be there only for the drop-off.

Pricing depends on the vehicle size, the distance, and how long the job takes — not a flat call-out fee. You see the quote in the MoovDrop app before you confirm, so there is nothing to negotiate at the door. Most single-item jobs in Toronto start from around $49.
Yes. Same-day is the normal case rather than the exception — drivers are usually matched within 1-2 hours across Toronto and the wider Greater Toronto Area. You can also schedule ahead if you are working to a building's elevator booking or a store's pickup window.
All of Toronto, including Downtown, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Pickup and drop-off can be in different cities — a Toronto pickup delivering elsewhere in Greater Toronto Area is a normal job, not a special request.
Yes — that is the part that separates MoovDrop from renting a van. Send the driver the seller's address and pickup window — you don't have to be there for the pickup, only for the drop-off. If the item is heavy or awkward, you can request a second mover when you book.

Before your move
If you require assistance from the driver during your move, the driver may enter your home to help lift and move items related to your MoovDrop delivery. The driver will park in a designated loading zone or safe parking area before entering the property.
All items must be photographed and uploaded prior to the move request. Any item not photographed before pickup may not be accepted and will not be covered under MoovDrop protection policies.
All items must be properly packaged and secured before pickup. Open containers, loose items, or improperly packed items will not be accepted. Items such as liquids, food, gas, alcohol, glass, or other fragile materials must be safely packaged, sealed, and clearly labeled as “Fragile” or “Caution” where applicable.
Please be prepared to assist the driver with lifting any items that require two people to move safely. If the customer is not ready for the move upon the driver's arrival, or if the driver is required to wait, a waiting fee of $1 per minute will apply after the first 15 minutes.
It is the customer's responsibility to select the correct vehicle size for the delivery. If there are too many items or the items are too large for the selected vehicle, additional charges may apply or the order may need to be rescheduled.
