How does Facebook Marketplace delivery work?
Book MoovDrop with the seller's pickup address and your drop-off address. A verified driver collects the item and delivers it to you — often the same day.
Can I get same-day delivery from a Marketplace seller?
Yes, in most of the GTA. Same-day bookings are usually matched within 1-2 hours.
What if the item is heavy or bulky?
MoovDrop drivers help load and unload. For very large items, you can request extra hands when booking.
Do I need to be there for pickup?
Usually the seller hands off the item and you receive it at drop-off. You can coordinate the details in the app.
Before your move
Service Guidelines
Home Helping Service
If you require assistance from the driver during your move, the driver may enter your home to help lift and move items related to your MoovDrop delivery. The driver will park in a designated loading zone or safe parking area before entering the property.
Item Photos
All items must be photographed and uploaded prior to the move request. Any item not photographed before pickup may not be accepted and will not be covered under MoovDrop protection policies.
Packaging and Item Safety
All items must be properly packaged and secured before pickup. Open containers, loose items, or improperly packed items will not be accepted. Items such as liquids, food, gas, alcohol, glass, or other fragile materials must be safely packaged, sealed, and clearly labeled as “Fragile” or “Caution” where applicable.
Waiting Fee
Please be prepared to assist the driver with lifting any items that require two people to move safely. If the customer is not ready for the move upon the driver's arrival, or if the driver is required to wait, a waiting fee of $1 per minute will apply after the first 15 minutes.
Choosing the Right Vehicle
It is the customer's responsibility to select the correct vehicle size for the delivery. If there are too many items or the items are too large for the selected vehicle, additional charges may apply or the order may need to be rescheduled.
